Develop a routine

One of the most important things for your academic success is to develop a regular routine especially during this time where you spend the most of your study time by yourself at home. Without a regular routine it can happen very fast to lose control over your studies and life by entering a downward spiral by sleeping until noon, over consuming social media content and binge watching Netflix series. The following tips should help you to stay productive but these are only suggestions and you should find out what works best for you.


  1. Get up at a regular time each morning and get dressed as it were a regular school day

  2. Set a fixed study time and structure your time to complete all your assignments and connect with your classmates for your group presentations.

  3. Plan some breaks in between your tasks and go for a walk or do some outdoor exercise.

  4. Reward yourself after you have done all the work. That's the time where you can watch your favorite Netflix show or play video games.

  5. Go to sleep at a regular time, so your body can get used to the new routine.
